Regarding new treatment methods, the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education noted: Today, new methods have emerged in medical sciences; For example, cell therapy and gene therapy are among the modern sciences in the field of medical sciences.

Einollahi stated that 25% of the activities of knowledge bases are in the field of health and the Ministry of Health, and reminded that about 1.8 billion dollars of foreign exchange savings have occurred with the activities of knowledge bases.

He said: The permission to establish 14 science and technology parks has been issued in the University Development Council, and each of these parks can work in the field of health-oriented production. Articles used to be given a lot of importance; While today, while emphasizing the importance of articles, the function of articles and their effect in the production of technological products have been emphasized in the research department of the Ministry of Health.

Referring to the opening of 7 health innovation centers in 1401, the Minister of Health said: the use of new treatment methods will make it possible to treat diseases that do not have drug treatment in the future, using cell therapy and gene therapy methods.

Regarding the role of electronic infrastructure and improving services to the people, he said: the health field is moving towards electronicization along with other fields. At the beginning of the 13th government, electronic prescription writing has been improved to 10% and now to more than 90%, and we are looking to improve and complete the electronic health record so that patient information is kept.

“Keeping patients’ information in the electronics platform helps us to act in the field of epidemiology and prevention and treatment of early diseases, so we can have a good future in the field of health,” Einollahi said.
