Dr. Bahram Einullahi said at the meeting of the secretaries of specialized and sub-specialized boards of the Ministry of Health: We need the help of scientists in the path of the missions of the Ministry of Health in the fields of education, research, treatment and other sectors, and we must, in the true sense, to a coherent health system. To achieve medical treatment and education and these capacities are combined with each other so that we can achieve the sacred goals of the Islamic Republic in the health system.

He added: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the People’s President and the Honorable First Vice President emphasize that there should be more cooperation with the elites and the necessary support from them. Because this action will be an important key for our progress.

The Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education went on to state that today there are all kinds of specializations, subspecialties, fellowships and all required medical fields in the country, and stated: “Definitely one of the most important achievements of the Islamic Revolution, is the advancements of the health system.

Dr. Einullahi stated: Fortunately, with the efforts made, our scientific rank has been improved from 16 to 15, also, out of 78 thousand articles produced in the country, 31 thousand articles are related to medicine, while out of 100 thousand There are only 21 thousand academic faculty members in the field of medicine in the country.

He stated: The average speed of scientific growth is 7.44, but in medical sciences it is 8.23, and in addition to the higher speed of growth of medical sciences compared to the average speed of scientific growth in the country, we have seen a 55% growth in basic knowledge.

The Minister of Health further pointed to the field of education and said: there should be a review of education methods and education development centers, and special attention should also be paid to the issue of research and technology.

In the end, Dr. Einullahi stressed: The relationship with the boards should be strengthened and if we want knowledge and technology to flourish in the country in a real way, we should pay attention to basic sciences.
